With the main slogan of development, discipline, dynamism and spontaneousicy, Shito-Ryu Karate dojo Balaju Dojo was established in Bhadra 2048 B.S (Aug 1991). and has been dedicated in the improvement of this Karate sport. It has been acting actively since its establishment with the main objective to introduce joy and excitement among the interested participant in this game, several awareness, development and progressive program regarding this sport has created positive impact upon the society. The main focus of Shito-Ryu Karate is to make the participating people energetic and built self confidence within them. In fact, local people who love this game along with every branches of society are devoted in making the Dojo of Shito-Ryu stable and self dependent. Due to these events, Shito-Ryu Karate has registered its history in the world of sports and has maintained its identity in producing National and International Level players. From time to time various social programs have been operated which has created hallmark image on the mind of local public. In the mean time competitions has helped players and sports lover to become more attractive and promote.

Though, our country is well known internationally due to the highest Mt. Everest and the birth place of Lord Buddha, the light of World. Karate was not originated in our nation but the natural environment and its suitable climate has benefited to sustain sports since last one and half decade. The contributions made by Dojo has been playing created a mile stone for future. According to the rules and regulations of Shito-Ryu Karate Balaju Dojo has been entitled with "Balaju Karate-Do Academy Nepal" and has been registered in various forms in Bhadra 2064 (Sep 2007) in District Administration Office, Kathmandu Contemporarily. Sensei Dhurba Bikram Malla is the founder President as well as Chief Coach in this organization.
